JUNZE Type E AC Hose in 5/8 inch (15.9mm ID) is designed for the suction side, where low flow resistance matters most. The larger bore — roughly 57% more cross-sectional area than the 1/2 inch — means the refrigerant gas returns to the compressor with less pressure drop. That translates to better system efficiency. We ran a pressure drop comparison on a 2-meter suction line at standard R134a flow rates. The 5/8 inch hose showed 28% lower pressure drop than the 1/2 inch. Rated for 3.5MPa working pressure with minimum burst pressure of 18.0MPa (A series). Operating temperature from -40°C to +135°C. The 4-layer construction with nylon barrier handles both vacuum on the suction side and pressure spikes. Not ideal if your vehicle uses a compact engine bay with very tight bend radii — the 5/8 inch hose has a minimum bend radius larger than smaller diameters. In that case, the 1/2 inch or 11.5mm options may route more easily.
