JUNZE Abrasion Resistant Bus AC Hose is designed for the sections of bus AC systems that run along the chassis or in areas exposed to road debris. The 4-layer construction — outer EPDM, PET reinforcement, middle EPDM, inner PA nylon barrier — is the same as our standard high-pressure hose, but with a thicker outer EPDM layer for additional abrasion resistance. We tested this against standard bus AC hose in a Taber abrasion test (CS-10 wheel, 1kg load, 1,000 cycles). The abrasion-resistant version lost 0.12mm of outer layer thickness. The standard version lost 0.31mm. That is roughly 2.5 times better wear resistance. Rated for 3.5MPa working pressure with minimum burst pressure of 15.0MPa. Temperature range from -40°C to +135°C. Compatible with R134a and R1234yf.
