Duty cycle, not mileage on the odometer, is what decides how a brake hose ages. A taxi stacks stop after stop through city traffic every shift — heat cycles, pressure cycles, flex cycles at the wheel end, all of them far ahead of a private car's pace.
The JUNZE high-mileage assembly is built on the same SAE J1401 fiber-braided hose we supply to assembly lines, chosen for stable, safe and reliable braking performance across that duty cycle.
Fleets standardise on one or two bores — usually 3.2mm for sedans, 4.8mm for the larger MPVs in the pool. That standardisation is what makes a fleet program worth running.Product Details
Product Information
Under repeated pressure cycles, what matters is that the hose does not swell and the fittings do not work loose. The fiber braid carries the load with burst minimums of 80 MPa at 3.2mm and 60 MPa at 4.8mm, and expansion at the small bore stays at 0.25 ml/m under 6.9 MPa.
For a fleet operator, the practical value is predictability. One hose specification across the pool means one replacement standard, one training note for the workshop, one stock line.
We supply fleet programs as pre-crimped assemblies per position or as bulk stock for your in-house shop. Send the fleet composition and we will size the program around it.
