Cold changes how rubber behaves. A hose that is supple in August can go stiff and crack-prone through a northern winter, and the braking system notices before the driver does.
The JUNZE hydraulic brake hose assembly is rated from -48°C upward — the figure in our catalogue, not a special winter variant. The same assembly carries +120 C at the top end, so the part that survives a Kiruna January also handles a desert crossing without a second SKU.
For distributors in Canada, the Nordics, and high-altitude markets, that means one part number covers the seasons instead of a winter stock rotation.

Product Information
The low-temperature rating rests on two things working together. The rubber compound keeps its flexibility as the mercury drops. The ozone-resistant cover is what actually stops the outdoor cracking that kills hoses left in the yard through winter.
Bore options run 3.2mm, 4.8mm, and 6.3mm, with burst minimums of 80, 60, and 50 MPa respectively. Expansion at the 3.2mm bore measures 0.25 ml/m at 6.9 MPa.
Cold-climate fleets tend to standardise on one or two bores across the whole fleet, which makes bulk lengths and pre-crimped assemblies both worth quoting. Tell us the fleet and the climate, and we will size the program.
