Two properties matter most at this bore. The first is expansion: 0.25 ml/m under 6.9 MPa and 0.36 ml/m under 10.3 MPa, catalog-tested figures. A motorcycle system holds little fluid, so expansion shows up directly at the lever.
The second is flex life. The multi-strand fiber braid bends through tight routing at the fork and caliper without work-hardening, cycle after cycle of suspension movement.
